Cuvée Réservée

As its name indicates, this champagne has been left to age on the lees a minimum of 3 years. The extended time on the yeast gives it a robust, creamy texture. The blend is majority pinot noir (85%) with a touch of chardonnay making this a classic choice.

Composition 85% pinot noir, 15% chardonnay from the 2004 et 2003 harvests
Bottled in avril 2005
Malolactic fermentation complete
Dosage : 9 gr sugar per litre

Tasting notes :

A beautiful golden yellow with an abundant effervescence which provides a lovely bead and a fine, persistant stream of bubbles. A complex, refined, fruity nose with notes of peach marmalade combined with fresh raspberry, bergamote, honey and liquorice. The pinot noir dominated palate is rich and fruity with a finish of yellow fruit. A hint citrus coming from the chardonnay in mid palate and a note of liqueurice on the finish. This perfectly balanced champagne is a great choice for an aperitif, but will also show well with porc roast, grilled andouillette or cheeses such as chaource or vacherin
