Brut Nature

No additionnal dosage (sugar) has been added to this champagne, which means it is nice and dry. The majority Pinot Noir blend gives it lots of body, while a touch of chardonnay makes it bright and mineral.

Composition :
Blend 85% pinot noir, 15% chardonnay from the 2004 et 2003 harvest
Bottled : April 2005
Malolactic Fermentation completed
Less than 2,5 gr residual sucre per litre

Tasting Notes:
This champagne has a delightfull light yellow color with slightly rose hues. The nose is expressive, with overtones of white frute compote: pear and apple associated with honey pastries and hazel nuts. The attaque is bright and direct, with notes of granny apple and citrus fruits. The finish is fresh hazelnuts and peppery vanilla.

This champagne would be an excellent choice to accompany oysters on the half shell.
